The Stanford Alliance for Food Allergy Research (SAFAR) supports ongoing research at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and Stanford School of Medicine to improve diagnosis and treatment for children who suffer from food allergies.
Studies in progress include oral immunotherapy for milk and peanut allergies and research in eosinophilic eosophagitis, an inflammatory disorder of the esophagus. Packard Children’s is currently the only institution on the West Coast carrying out clinical food immunotolerance studies.
This is the secure online system for supporting SAFAR. Your gift will be received by the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health and directed to a fund for pediatric food allergy research under the direction of Kari Nadeau, MD, PhD. You will be issued a receipt by mail. Thank you for your support!
