Our community has come together like never before to face COVID-19. We are profoundly grateful for the role our donors play in helping us combat and prevent the disease’s devastating effects—especially in medically fragile children and pregnant women.
There is still much to be learned about how we can prevent, diagnose, and treat COVID-19—and we need your help to accelerate discovery.
Our scientists have launched dozens of research projects that have become beacons of information in the global response to COVID-19. Areas of study include:
- DIAGNOSTICS – to better understand how COVID-19 is passed from one person to another
- TREATMENT – to improve our ability to treat those who have COVID-19
- EPIDEMIOLOGY – to better understand how COVID-19 is spreading
- IMMUNOLOGY – to better understand immune responses to COVID-19
