Shop for Children's Health

Artisan Shop and Café Wisteria at Allied Arts Guild, Menlo Park

More than three acres of beautiful seasonal gardens and stunning examples of Spanish Colonial architecture await visitors to the Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park. Within this tranquil setting, find one-of-a-kind shopping at studios by working artists; the Artisan Shop, operated by members of the Allied Arts Guild Auxiliary; and the lovely Café Wisteria in a historic building and adjoining garden.

The Gift Shop at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, Palo Alto

The Gift Shop is a bright and cheerful destination for patients, families, visitors, and hospital team members looking for toys, children’s books, hospital-branded clothing, jewelry, snacks, and much more. The Gift Shop is run entirely by volunteers from the Roth Auxiliary with the help of community members.

The Thrift Box, San Jose

The San Jose Auxiliary operates  The Thrift Box in beautiful downtown Willow Glen. The Thrift Box is a unique and popular resale shop filled with treasures and bargains including jewelry, women's designer and casual clothing, purses and shoes, collectibles, housewares, decor, children's clothing and toys, and much more! The all-volunteer staff runs the store and accepts donations during business hours. All proceeds from The Thrift Box support care for all at Packard Children’s.

Auxiliaries' Annual Events

Autumn Open House and Christmas Market

The Allied Arts Guild Auxiliary’s historic property features amazing architecture and beautiful gardens. Within its grounds is Café Wisteria restaurant and the Artisan Shop. The Auxiliary hosts two annual events open to the public: an Autumn Open House and Christmas Market. Each event offers activities unique to the season, including pumpkin decorating at the Open House and uniquely creative gifts at the Christmas Market.

Game Day

The San Mateo-Burlingame Auxiliary hosts an annual Game Day—a fun and festive event that includes games such as bridge, mahjong, and dominoes, as well as lunch and a wonderful raffle.

Jewel Ball

The Jewel Ball is one of San Francisco’s longest-running charity events. This black-tie gala hosted by the San Francisco Auxiliary features cocktails, dinner, raffle, auction, and dancing into the night.

Restaurants with Heart and Annual Teas

The Palo Alto Auxiliary offers Restaurants with Heart, monthly fundraisers held at Peninsula eateries. Bring your friends and family—50 percent of each meal price (minus gratuity) is donated to Packard Children’s in support of care for all. Additionally, the Palo Alto Auxiliary organizes a Tea and Fashion Show in the spring and a Nutcracker Tea during the festive holiday season.
