The Association of Auxiliaries for Children is the governing board
for seven independent Auxiliaries. The mission of the Association is to promote, foster,
and maintain the welfare of children by raising funds that support care for all at Packard
Children's.

Auxiliaries have championed children’s
health at Stanford since 1919 and continue to proudly support Lucile Packard
Children’s Hospital Stanford’s commitment to treat any child in the
community who needs care, regardless of the families’ ability to
pay.

Auxiliary volunteers come from many walks of life and live
throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.  All volunteers share a commitment to
provide services to the children and families at the hospital, as well as additional
outreach in the community.

Become an Auxiliary member and
you’ll find a group of passionate individuals committed to a shared mission of
providing extraordinary care to children. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer,
please take a few moments to learn about the individual Auxiliaries

Roth Auxiliary

Formed in
1989, the Roth Auxiliary was created to operate the Gift Shop at the hospital. As
volunteers at the Gift Shop, Roth Auxiliary members provide an important service for
patients and their families, visitors, and hospital team members. The Gift Shop offers a
bright and cheerful space for shoppers to browse through a colorful inventory of toys,
books, sundry items, jewelry, and so much more!

Open every day (including
holidays), the Gift Shop offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, including sales
associates, stocking, and customer service. This membership requires a strong commitment to
service. Volunteers must go through a hospital orientation, training, and required
immunizations.
